bmw 20221019 xm suv2

Although the 2023 BMW XM SUV is not set to be released until early 2023, BMW has provided an inside look into this highly-anticipated pioneer of the M Performance hybrid lineup.

Going hybrid no longer means that you need to sacrifice on thrilling power or performance. The 650 horsepower SUV has an 8-cylinder plug-in hybrid engine, Integral Active 4-Wheel Steering and M xDrive. Active stabilizers reduce side-to-side body movements, improving driving dynamics and comfort while ultimately allowing for maximum control, and stability so you can focus on the thrill of the drive. It's exclusive, expressive, and electrified, effortlessly switching from hybrid mode to purely electric drive at the touch of a button and offering an electric range up to 50 km.

On the outside, the XM SUV embraces the iconic front in the style of the BMW luxury class, with an illuminated kidney grille, thin daytime running lights and exclusive Nightgold accents. Inside, you are presented with a spacious one-piece M Lounge interior with intricate details such as diamond-shaped structures in the headrest and stitching pattern. An illuminated sculptural roofliner impresses with a three-dimensional prism structure, allowing for colour selection to adapt to individual needs, driving mode and atmosphere. New vintage leather is also used for the first time exclusively in the XM, with a natural structure and textured vintage character. Other innovative features include a one-piece BMW Curved Display stylishly integrated into the dashboard, a wireless charging tray, Driving Assistant Professional and Parking Assistant Plus.

The new BMW XM SUV will be available early 2023. In addition to the release, BMW has announced a special model, the BMW XM 'Label Red' which will be released for a limited time in Autumn 2023.
